Denise Stevens

Denise Rochelle (Randa) Stevens was born on December 21, 1965, and passed away on February 19, 2026, at the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, Minnesota. She was born in Moose Lake, Minnesota and grew up in Cloquet, graduating from Cloquet High School in 1984. She moved to various areas in central and western Minnesota, settling in Princeton to raise her three sons. She loved to cheer on all three of her boys in their sports, but hockey was her favorite. She sported their team jacket and logo all winter long.

Denise was a free spirit and always did what she wanted in life. She didn't follow anyone else's rules or expectations and lived life the way she thought best. She loved her sons and her grandchildren fiercely. She was also an animal lover (bird watcher and dog lover) and preferred nature and animals to people most of the time. Her dogs, Zeke and Zeppelin, will miss her very much.

Denise is survived by her husband, Brad Stevens; sons, Samuel (Sarah) Grove, Ryne Grove, and Isaiah Miller; three grandchildren, Asher, Ivy, and Aiden; parents, Richard and Susan Randa; sister, Dawn (Patrick) Peterson; brothers, Dean (Melinda) Randa and Dave (Tessa) Randa; nieces, Jess Peterson and Jordyn Randa; nephews, Jonah and Jacob Randa; step-children, Cassie (Coleman) Connolly, Cody and Caleb Stevens; step-grandchildren, Rozie and Lyla; as well as loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of her life will be held in late Spring 2026.
