NEW YORK, N.Y. - Denise A. (Plante) Storey, 68, passed away March 5, 2023. She resided at the Huntington Unit at the Terrance Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center where she was provided loving care over the last five years.
Denise was born in Red Bank, N.J., the daughter of the late Robert and Jean (Ambrose) Plante. She lived most of her life in Albany and Schenectady. Denise was a licensed practical nurse in the Pediatric and Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at Albany Medical Center for many years. She later worked at OD Heck Developmental Center in Schenectady where she met her husband Robert Storey. Denise loved her dog, Willy.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Ellen Plante (Henry Casey) of Exton, Pa., Suzanne Kimmey (Paul) of Lancaster, Pa.; and brother, Michael Plante (Ozen) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 11, at 11 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 391 Delaware Ave. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with her family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Interment will follow the Mass in Graceland Cemetery, 680 Delaware Ave.
