Denise JoAnne Tinker

 

Denise JoAnne (Bosek) Tinker, age 54, unexpectedly passed away on August 5, 2023. 

Funeral services will be held at Sharp Funeral Home, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. The visitation will be held from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm on Thursday, August 10th; and Noon-1:00 pm on Friday, August 11th. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 11th (a live stream of the service will also be available on the obituary page).

Denise was born July 8, 1969, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Livonia, MI. The daughter of Ronald and Lodema (Tabor) Bosek. 

Denise graduated from Holly High School in 1988. Denise married Matthew Tinker in Davisburg Baptist church on June 30, 1990 (later divorced). Denise and Matt have three children together, Maxwell Julian Tinker (1994), Alexanderia Denise Tinker (1998), and Lucas Matthew Tinker (2003). Her kids were her world. She was a mother who inspired creativity, love, and courage. In the early 90s, Denise was heavily involved with the Junior Chamber of Commerce (The Jaycees) in both Livonia and Fenton, President of the Fenton chapter for a year. She attended classes at Mott Community College where she studied ASL, and later went on to graduate from the Medical Assistant program at Ross Medical Education Center. Denise was involved in many organizations over her lifetime and enjoyed countless hobbies and activities. Some of the many things that brought her joy were spending time with her family and friends, quilting, crocheting, crafts, gardening, archery, kayaking, spending time in the outdoors, her dog “Gigi”, and riding her motorcycle. Denise was ordained to officiant weddings in 2018 and started her own company, Infinity Weddings. Denise passionately brought hearts together as a wedding officiant, embracing her love for love itself. Denise was an incredibly loyal, loving, caring, strong, and compassionate person. Denise was fun, sarcastic, and adventurous, always bringing life to the party. She will live on forever in the joyous memories she brought to every person in her life.

Denise is survived by her former spouse, Matthew Tinker; children, Maxwell Tinker, Alexanderia Tinker, and Lucas Tinker; father, Ronald (Cynthia) Bosek; brother, Jeff (Jeanie) Bosek; nieces, Heather (Kyle) Fritzsching and Paige Bosek; nephew, Brayden Bosek; and several more loved ones. 

Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Lodema, on September 14, 2021.
