Denise Lynn Villafane

Denise Lynn Villafane, 73, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Hans Helmers and Mary Windler Helmers.

Denise was born on June 18, 1951, in West Point, NY. She attended school at Highland Falls High School then pursued her calling in caregiving at Letchworth, New York for 6 years then went on her own to be a caregiver for others until her husband passed in 1996.

Denise was a member of Calvary Chapel and enjoyed reading her Bible, traveling with her daughter, watching classic movies and Christmas time. She attended Empire State College for 2 years studying writing.

Denise is survived her loving daughter, Lynnette Villafane, Lynchburg, VA,

In addition to her parents, Denise is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Villafane.
