Denise Lynn Wilburn, of Yakima, Washington, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, at the age of 62 after a long and courageous battle with Lymphoma.

She was born on November 7, 1962, in Yakima, Washington, to Donald and Dolores Prickett. From an early age, Denise carried a spirit of kindness, strength, and compassion that touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She married the love of her life, Ted Wilburn on June 26, 1994 and together over the next 31 years, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. She was a devoted mother to David Schmoe (Amy), Nicole Lenseigne (Michael), and Chelsea Thayer (Doug). Denise was also a proud grandmother to Cailynn, Abby, Maximus, Madie, and Emily. She is survived by her loving mother, Dolores Prickett, her brothers, Dan Prickett and Doug Prickett, and her Aunt Phyllis Martin. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Prickett and sister in law Connie Prickett

Denise will be remembered most for her unwavering love for her family, her gentle heart, her ability to bring warmth and comfort to those around her and her devout faith. She found joy in doing puzzles, shopping, listening to music, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her legacy of love and generosity will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
