Denise Lynn Zimmermann

Denise Lynn Zimmermann, 53, of Pompton Plains, formerly of Vernon, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Denise was born in Morristown and
grew up in Randolph before moving to Vernon in 1990 and then Pompton Plains eleven years ago.
Denise is survived by her husband James, her daughter Alexandra, her son James (JT), her sister Donna Watts, Donna's partner Catherine McClain, her aunt Margaret Pettersen,
cousins Edward Pettersen and Richard Pettersen, uncle Richard Watts and cousins Tina Dulude, Jason Watts, Anna Watts and Sherry Watts. She was predeceased by her parents William John Watts, Jr. and Carolyn Foreman.
She graduated from Randolph Township High School in 1987 and received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the
College of Saint Elizabeth in 1991. She then began work for Tony Arbore, Esqs in Succasunna for a period, but remained friends to this
day. After being married in 1997, she devoted all of her time raising her family. Denise knew no greater joy than being with her family on her boat in
Lake George, New York. These boat rides began as a child with her parents, camping at Rogers Rock and making lifelong memories. At the
beginning of each boat ride when asked where she wanted to go, the answer was always the same, "the whole lake".
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00PM on Thursday, July 7, at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave.
Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am on Friday, July 8, at the St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
