Denna Louise Peterson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Denna L. Forbes Peterson, who left this world on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on Tuesday, November 6th, 1979, in the beautiful city of Naples, Italy, Denna brought joy and warmth to everyone she encountered throughout her life.

Denna was a cherished resident of Blakely, GA, where she worked as a dedicated bank teller at First State Bank. Her colleagues and customers alike will remember her for her easy-going nature and infectious laugh that could brighten anyone's day.

Denna had a deep love for the outdoors and was known for her artistic flair, often spending her free time crafting beautiful creations. Above all, she treasured moments spent with her family and friends, who were the center of her world.

She is survived by her loving parents, Paul Forbes and Brenda Joyce Craft, and her siblings, Jamie Pickle (Keith) of Jakin, GA, Kellie French (Patrick) of Buffalo, TX, and Paul Forbes II (Paige) of Valdosta, GA. Denna was also a beloved bonus mother to Rebecca Peterson Roberts (Reed) of Jacksonville, FL, Jessica Peterson Temples (Dillon) of Blakely, GA, and Cole Peterson (Sabryna) of Blakely, GA. Her legacy lives on through her two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Denna was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Bobby Christopher Peterson, with whom she shared many wonderful years.

No formal services are planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home.

Denna's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the joy and laughter she brought into the world.
