"Forever Remembered, Forever Loved"
Dennis Neal Anderson passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026.
He was born on June 21, 1961, to the late Robert Neal and Annie Mae Anderson. He was the youngest brother of seven siblings, known for his charm, humor, and larger-than-life personality.
Dennis accepted Christ at a young age and attended Goochland County Public Schools, where his outgoing spirit and infectious smile made him well known. Though he did not have children of his own, Dennis lovingly embraced his nieces and nephews as his own, pouring into them laughter, protection, and unconditional love. Affectionately known as the life of the party, he brought joy and unforgettable memories to every gathering.
He leaves to cherish his memory one brother, James Anderson (Irene), NC; three sisters, Linda Brunson, Richmond, VA; Thelma Anderson, Richmond, VA; and Carolyn Elise Flemming, Goochland County, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was also deeply cared for by his devoted aunt, Grace Rodwell, who opened her home and heart to him during his final months. She provided comfort, companionship, and unwavering love, ensuring he was surrounded by warmth, faith, and the family he cherished so deeply.
Dennis was predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Anna Cooley Jackson and Robert Neal and Myrtle Simpson Anderson; his brother, Melvin Leroy Anderson; his devoted sister, Barbara Jones; his aunt, Girley Brown; and his beloved niece, Courtney Anderson.
A loving brother, uncle, and friend, Dennis lived life with joy and love. Though deeply missed, his spirit and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
His Aunt Grace, Maddie Pacifico, cousin Lloyd Jr., and his entire family sincerely acknowledge the many kind expressions of sympathy. Our comfort came from prayers, phone calls, and visits. From the bottom of our hearts, a very special, "Thank You!" goes out to the staff of Heartland Hospice for their loving and tender care. We will never forget the love shown to Dennis during his illness. May God forever bless and keep you in all his tender loving care.
For God be the glory for the great things He has done!
