Denny spent his lifetime logging millions of miles in his favorite vehicle, his Peterbilt. From his early years Denny had a passion for everything about railroads, model trains, and trucking.
He is survived by his wife: Debbie, of 34 years; sisters: Peggy Ann (Joe) Kress, and Betty Jane (Doug) Tarkowski; nieces: Kristi Tarkowski and Tammy (Dean) Meissner; nephews: Jason (Katherine) Kress and Tim (Sarah) Kress. He is further survived by other family, friends, and special furry friends Bailey & F. Floyd.
Appreciation goes to the staff at Eagle River Hospital and Seasons of Life Hospice for their compassionate care. The family would also like to thank Pastor Tim, and the members and friends of Ely Memorial Church for their continued support.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday October 12, 2023 at Ely Memorial Church in Land O'Lakes, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Leave the rough road behind and let peace be thine.
