Michael John Plese

Michael John "Mike" Plese, 64, of Eagle River, WI, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025.

He was born on June 6, 1961, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, to John and Lorraine Plese. Mike worked for many years at Hauswerks and later at Design/Build by Visner. In his early years, he loved attending his son Michael's football games and his daughter Ali's hockey games. Mike enjoyed deer hunting with his brothers, fishing at his favorite hot spots, and watching the wildlife. He cherished family gatherings, playing cribbage, and always welcomed his favorite "cookies" from his sisters. As a devoted Brewer fan, he could often be found in the garage listening to the games on the radio. In his later years, he especially loved casino trips with Jeri, and time spent with family and friends. His love and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Mike is survived by his wife of one year, Jeri; his daughter, Ali; his stepson, Shea; his sisters Donna Schultz and Connie (Pat) Hansen; his brothers John (Sheryl) Plese and Dan (Cheryl) Plese; and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lorraine Plese; his wife of 32 years, Debbie; his son, Michael; his sister, Trink (Bill) Hansen; and his nephew, Christopher.

A celebration of life will be held at Sweetwater in Eagle River on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.
