Dennis Alan Borak III passed away December 12, 2022 at the tender young age of 17.

Trey, to those who knew him, had a larger-than-life personality and a devilishly crooked smile. He had a sharp wit, but was so personable and respectful and a friend to all. He walked and talked with a charisma and confidence that was far larger than his thin 5’8” frame. An amazing big brother to his younger siblings and a caring and loving boyfriend to his long-time girlfriend, Emilee Wyatt, he also loved his dog, Kali, his snuggle buddy. He loved his grandparents and great-grandparents and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Above all else, Trey was his mother’s best friend and his father’s pride and joy!

From an early age, Trey had a love for athletics and demonstrated great talent for sports. His first love was baseball, but football was a close second; he played both sports competitively since he was five years old. Some of his father’s proudest moments took place “between the chalk lines”; a place where the two of them spent time together and found common ground even when they didn’t always see eye-to-eye. Between innings, Trey would make a point to seek out his little sisters and give them a hug, or a Popsicle, or whatever they wanted. After every great play or run scored, he would look for his momma in the stands and give her a long distance fist bump or thumbs up as if to say, “We did it!”

Trey enjoyed fishing and was quite the angler. Like many kids his age, he also enjoyed watching Anime, hanging at the skate park, and playing X-Box. He had some favorites amongst various genres: rappers, the late Juice Wrld, NLE Choppa, and Mac Miller; country artists, Zach Bryan, Koe Wetzel, and Colten Jesse; movie and television series, “How to Train Your Dragon”; Disney World ride, “Avatar Flight of Passage”; and, of course, fast food was Taco Bell. And what teenager, including Trey, didn’t like Takis and drinking Monsters?

Trey’s room was the social gathering place not only for his siblings, but also for their friends; all ages were welcomed, from toddlers to teens. His kindness and warmth was infectious and he made sure that everyone around him felt important and loved.

“While Trey may no longer be with us, his Celestial presence will always surround us

in everything that we do. Fly high, Baby Boy, and know that you are so loved!”

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kaye “Gigi” and Randall Farmer.

Trey is survived by his parents, Dennis and Barbie Borak; brother, Dylan; sisters, Makayelynn and Makenna; his grandparents, Dennis and Pam Borak; his great-grandparents, Stanley and Patsy Borak, his great-grandmother, Shirley Williams; his uncle, Brandon “Booboo” Borak, his aunt, Heidi Moore, his aunt, Candace Griffith; and many cousins, friends, and loved ones.
