Dennis J. Cagle, 66, of
Ridgely, Tennessee, died on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at his residence in
Ridgely, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, October 18, 1959, in
Ridgely, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Clyde Cagle and the late Virginia Staggs Cagle.
Dennis was a dedicated employee of Nortek, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.
A faithful member of First Baptist Church, Dennis lived his life grounded in faith, family, and simple joys. He loved spending time with his family, cherishing moments together and enjoying one another's company. His family was the center of his world.
Dennis enjoyed shooting guns and appreciated the sport and fellowship that often came with it. He was also a fan of action movies and series, recently enjoying shows like The Line Man and Reacher. When he wasn't watching television, Dennis could often be found in his workshop. Woodworking was one of his favorite pastimes.
Funeral services for Mr. Cagle will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in
Ridgely, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Mickey Hanks. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in
Ridgely, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. Cagle will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in
Ridgely, Tennessee.
He is survived by one son, Jonathon Cagle (Yolanda) of Racine, Wisconsin; four daughters, Deana Pangowish (Chris Clark) of Medina, Tennessee, Corie Boyd (Tim Boyd) of
Ridgely, Tennessee, Zabrina Hutcheson (Adam Stover) of
Newbern, Tennessee and Nicole Herrera of Racine, Wisconsin: two brothers, Jimmy Blackwell of
Ridgely, Tennessee and Tim Blackwell of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters, Jeannette Diaz (Oscar) of
Newbern, Tennessee and Sandy Blackwell of Halls, Tennessee, he was "Papa" to his fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family that he loved dearly.
He also dearly loved his little dog, Rex, who was his faithful companion. Rex was rarely far from Dennis' side and brought him comfort, joy, and constant companionship.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Cagle, one son, Dennis Cagle, Jr. and two brothers, Clyde Cagle and Alan Blackwell.
Honoring Mr. Cagle as pallbearers will be Cameron Hutcheson, Hayden Hutcheson, Adam Cagle, Ronnie Austin Anderson, Anthony Paz Moreno, Gabriel Pax Moreno, Justin Blackwell and Jonathan Cagle. Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Boyd and Oscar Diaz.
