Dennis Edward Colonius

Dennis Edward Colonius, age 81, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on April 19, 2025. He was born on July 17, 1943, to the late Julius and Marian Colonius.
Dennis was the beloved husband of Barbara for 49 years. He was a loving father to his daughter Michelle (Michael) and a devoted stepfather to Neal Sr. and Craig Sr. He was preceded in death by his stepchildren Timothy and Sharon.
Dennis was a proud grandfather to Melody, Margo, Donnie, Craig Jr., Joey, Brittany, Samantha, Neal Jr., Dennis, and Danielle, and cherished his five great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sister Pam (Mike) and sister-in-law Brenda. He was preceded in death by his brother Gary.
Dennis retired from Giant Eagle, where he worked diligently for many years. He enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, visiting Florida, and was known as the King of One-Liners.
Dennis will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park (Section 42, Lot 75, Grave 2).
