TROY - Dennis M. Connally, 57, of Troy passed on May 14, 2025 at the Albany Medical center after a courageous battle with glioblastoma. Born in Troy he was the son of Karen Sorensen Connally and the late Thomas C. Connally and the husband of Deanna Caruso Connally. Dennis was a graduate of Catholic Central High School , Class of 86. He was a retired corrections officer for Rensselaer County, and served for 25 dedicated years. Dennis was an avid sports fan, a "foodie" and would consider being in the pool with the kid's a perfect day. His favorite time was the annual family trip to Cape Cod, which he loved the most. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of 25 years, Deanna Caruso Connally, children, Chloe Connally (Skylar) and Cole Connally, brothers, Tim Connally (Suzy) and Tom Connally (Stephanie), sister, Maureen Byrne (Dan), sister in law, Lynn Perry (Keith) and nieces and nephews, Jake Connally (Sammie), Lucas Connally, Casey Byrne, Sarah Zedar (Blake), Brody Connally and Abigail Connally. Friends are invited to Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home 870 Second Avenue (124th & 125th Streets) on Monday from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Augustine's Church in Lansingburgh. Contributions may be made to the Lansingburgh Boy's & Girl's Club, 501 4th Ave. Troy, NY 12182.
