John Culliton Obituary
PLEASANTDALE - John R. Culliton, 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Pleasantdale, on November 2, 2025. John is survived by his wife of 60 years, and love of his life, Donna Marsolais Culliton. John was born in Troy on June 21, 1944, to the late John and Eleanor Culliton. He was predeceased by his sister, Theresa Bell; and brother, Joe Culliton. John is also survived by his son, John M. Culliton (Marguerita); daughter, Jennifer Culliton; as well as his beloved grandchildren, Kayla Esposito (Ryan), Christopher Schewe, William M., Ashley Culliton, Karley Culliton, Samantha Culliton; and great-grandchild, Chloe Savoie; sisters, Helen Watson (John), Ellie Cinney (Chuck) and Mary Watson (Walt); as well as nieces, nephews and friends.
John was the owner of J. Culliton and Son General Contractors for many years. He loved traveling with his wife, Donna. He enjoyed his summers at the camp on Lake Champlain, fishing, boating and having a cold beer at the fire with his family and friends. He was also an avid N.Y. Giants and Yankees fan.
Family and friends are invited to the Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 870 Second Ave. in Lansingburgh, on Saturday, November 8, from 12 to 2 p.m.

Donna, John, and Jennifer, When we lose someone dear to us, the challenge isn´t to learn to live without them but to learn to live with the love they left behind. All of you were blessed with a wonderful husband and father. He'll be watching over you now until you meet again. May God, family and friends see you through this difficult time. We are so sorry we are not able to be in NY at this difficult time.
