A man of immeasurable spirit and generous heart, embarks on his final adventure, having left us on July 19, 2024. Born in Detroit, Michigan on June 1, 1953, Dennis was a shining example of dedication and commitment. His life bore the testament of an adventurous soul, who always sought the thrill of living on the edge, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to his community and loved ones.

Dennis was a dynamic, multidimensional individual who never ceased to explore new territories. His professional life revolved around Copier Technics, a venture he cherished as his own. His dedication to the job was second to none and he worked tirelessly to ensure the success of his business. As an enthusiastic member of St. Christopher's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, he contributed significantly to his community. His dedication shone through in his 43-year-long passion for high school and college sports officiating.

But Dennis wasn't just a business owner and community figure; he was a storyteller, an entertainer, a cheerleader, and a guide. His love for acting in plays at the Renaissance Center and Civil War reenactments showcased his adventurous side and his ability to immerse himself fully in the moment. His involvement in Comic Book Shows and white water rafting further exhibited his adventurous spirit. He was a dedicated member of the Dickson Evening Rotary Club, contributing to their initiatives and often leading the way. With a song in his heart and a generous spirit, he was an integral part of the Dickson County Chamber Choir.

Dennis was a devoted husband to his wife, Laura DeBlock. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. His parents, Wayne and Dorene DeBlock, preceded him in death. His dedication to his family and loved ones was a testament to his generous nature, always putting others before himself.

As we remember Dennis, let us recall the words of Mark Twain: "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time." Dennis lived fully, loved generously, and left an indelible mark on everyone he met. His life was a testament to the enduring power of dedication, adventure, and generosity. We invite those who knew Dennis to share their memories and upload photos to the memorial page, celebrating a life well-lived and a man who so joyously lived it.
