Dennis Michael Diak, 62, of Otterville, MO, peacefully passed away on October 11, 2024, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, MO. Born on March 27, 1962, in Fulton, NY, he was the cherished son of Edward and Rose Diak, who preceded him in death.
On October 5, 2019, Dennis married the love of his life, Patricia Bateman, in Hannibal, NY. Together for 31 years, they created a warm and loving home.
Dennis spent the majority of his life in Fulton, NY, before recently relocating to Otterville, MO. He dedicated 35 years of his career to Huhtamaki, where he was a valued team member. His passions included racing, painting, music, and enjoying the beauty of waterfalls. He found immense joy in attending his grandchildren's sporting events, where his pride and enthusiasm shone brightly.
In addition to his beloved wife, Patricia, Dennis is survived by his loving daughter, Tracy Marie and her husband Jon Samuel Phillips; his treasured grandchildren, Jadyn Amity Rose Phillips, and Troy Frederick Phillips, and a brother, Douglas Diak.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville, MO, with pastor Russ Slocum officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
