DENNIS LEON DUNN, age 78, of Athens TN. passed away Monday, September 22, 2025 at Bradley Medical Center in Cleveland. He is he son of the late Leroy and Mildred Yates Dunn.
He is preceeded in death by Brother, Hugh Dunn.
He was a devoted father and loving husband. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from the railroad after 35 years and was an avid golfer and sports fan.
Survivors:
Wife of 55 years, Pat Green Dunn; Daughter and Son-in-law, Christy (Chad) Hughes; Son, Aaron Dunn;
Grandchildren, Caleb Hughes, Lexi Dunn and Luke Dunn;
Brother, Rick Dunn (Loretta Pardue); Sister and Brother-in-law, Sara (Morry) Clifton.
Funeral Services will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Jenkins officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 5-7PM prior to the service. The graveside service will be 2:00PM Thursday, September 25, 2025 at McMinn Memory Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be, Aaron Dunn, Chad Hughes, Caleb Hughes, Luke Dunn, Rodney Dunn, and Junior Yates. Honorary Pallbearer, Charles Stoner
