Dennis Wayne Edwards passed from this life into the next on June 10th, 2023 at the age of 62. He was the husband of Kimberly Sharon Edwards and they shared 40 meaningful years of marriage.
Dennis was born on May 21st, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Ralph Edwards and Barbara Havens (Ackman).
After graduating highschool Dennis joined the United States Army in 1979 and served 3 years including a tour in Korea.
He was employed by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 35 years as a machine maintenance technician. Dennis was a member of the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, where he served as a Rodder’s Rep for the southwest region. He enjoyed hanging out in his shop and working on his 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. He will be remembered for his dedication and love for his family and friends and his big “hollywood” smile. He especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren. He loved all things Mopar and spent any free time at the drag races.
He is survived by his wife Kimberly Sharon Edwards of Duncan, OK, his children, Robert Lee Edwards of Duncan, OK, Chloe Giselle Elizabeth Edwards-Thomas and husband Gabriel Christian Thomas of Central High, OK. Dennis has three grandchildren Kimberly Ann Thomas, Gabriel Gunner Christian Thomas, and Trigg Wayne Thomas all of Central High, OK. His Mother Barbara Ann Havens and husband Millard (Buddy) of Cincinnati, OH. Brother Robby Edwards and wife Pam, sisters Holly Hurst, Shelly Edwards-Paul and husband Patrick, Sandi Jackson and husband James, Brother Shawn Edwards, his uncle Ed Ackman and wife Linda and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Adrian Edwards and Uncle Donny Ackman.
Funeral arrangements are pending. The family requests privacy during this difficult time.

Dennis you will be missed by so many dear friend. It was our pleasure to have you as our friend & co-worker. Taken way too soon but we are sure God has big plans for you . May God comfort & send peace to your family during this difficult time. R.I.P. dear friend you will live in our hearts forever with that Hollywood smile.
