Dennis John Ehinger

Dennis John Ehinger, 65, of West Branch, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025. He was born on October 15, 1959, in West Branch.

Dennis will be remembered for his kindness and his unique talent for fixing anything placed in front of him. His steady presence and willingness to help others touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

He dedicated 35 years of his career to Taylor Entrance Systems (Taylor Door), where he eventually retired. Known for his remarkable ability to fix just about anything, Dennis had a true passion for tinkering. Whether electrical, mechanical, or anything in between, he took pride in repairing and restoring what others brought to him. Helping in this way brought him joy, and his gift for problem-solving touched the lives of many.

He is survived by his loving family: daughter, Sally Marie Ehinger; sisters, Gloria (Kenneth) Searfoss and Diane (Frank) Carlu; nieces and nephews, Shane Diffin, Shawn Nelson, Shannon Fritz, Jason Carlu, Cami Carlu, Jimmy Carlu, and Matthew Carlu.

He was preceded in death by his son, Peter John Ehinger, and his parents, Jack and Jane Ehinger.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in West Branch, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and celebrate his life.
