Dennis L. Ehrhart

Dennis L. Ehrhart, age 79, of Sharon, PA, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle, PA.

Born June 30, 1946, in Sharon, PA, he was the son of the late Oliver and Alberta (McGilvary) Ehrhart.

Dennis was a 1964 graduate of Sharon High School and worked on the conduit line for Wheatland Tube for 38 years until his retirement. He also served his country honorably in the U S Navy for three years.

In his spare time, Dennis liked to bowl, vacation in Key West, FL, but most of all he loved getting together with his family. He was a member of the former Oakland Ave. Methodist Church in Sharon, PA, and attended the First Baptist Church in Sharpsville, PA.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia Ann (Kilgore) Ehrhart, of Sharon, PA, two daughters, Joan (Mark) Chaky, of Hubbard, OH, and Andrea (Jon) Dillon, of Hermitage, PA, two sons, James (Becky) Bortner, of Cape Coral, FL, and William Bortner and (James Joyce), of Holiday ,FL, a brother Richard (Jackie) Ehrhart, of Hermitage, PA, a sister Suzanne (Jim) Emery, of Sharpsville, PA, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Private visitation will be held at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, PA, 16146. A private funeral service will follow in the funeral home with Rev. Bruce Rosa officiating. Full Military Honors will be presented by the Wheatland American Legion and W. Middlesex VFW Area Honor Guard. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
