Dennis Elia

Dennis Elia, of Easton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love.

Dennis leaves behind his devoted wife, Stephanie; his loving daughter, Alexandria Cash, and her husband, Brian; his cherished grandchildren, Zachary Cash and his wife, Haley; Arianna Cash; and Jeffrey Bentz, son of his late daughter, Christina Elia. He was predeceased by his beloved granddaughter, Olivia Rose Cash.

Dennis was also predeceased by his father, Alexander Elia; his mother, Angelina Zona Elia; his brother, John Elia; and his twin sister, Diane Elia.

He is further survived by his brother, Richard Elia; his sister, Anastasia Sunnerberg, and her husband, Ken; along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Dennis proudly served as a member of the Boston Police Department, a role he valued deeply and spoke of often. He also was a neighborhood favorite during his years tending bar at Sonny's, where he met many of the friends who remained close to him throughout his life.

Funeral services will be private. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Service on Sunday, March 8, at 2:00 PM at Florian Hall in Dorchester, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location. The memorial will include an opportunity for family and friends to share stories and memories in honor of Dennis.

Dennis will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
