Dennis Edward Elliott

Dennis Edward Elliott, age 77, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, at Vancrest of St. Marys.
He was born on February 21, 1948, in Hackensack, New Jersey, to the late Oliver Jerome and Mildred Frances (Olsen) Elliott. On June 19, 1971, Dennis married Maryann Elizabeth (Holterhaus) Elliott, who preceded him in death on December 4, 2020.
Dennis was a 1967 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Wapakoneta and later earned an Associate's Degree. He enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as an architect, retiring after many years of dedicated service. Dennis was an avid railroad enthusiast and proudly belonged to the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Historical Society and the National Model Railroad Association.
He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed by them all.
He is survived by his siblings: Carl (Beth) Elliott of Fort Shawnee, Susan Elliott of Wapakoneta, Mike (Pam) Elliott of Wapakoneta, Pat (Paula) Elliott of St. Marys, and Barbi Gardner; a sister-in-law, Macia Elliott of Lima; a brother-in-law, Jerry Price of St. Marys; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Dennis was preceded in death by a brother, John Elliott; a sister, Cathy Price; a nephew, Darren Elliott; a niece, Stephanie Elliott; and a brother-in-law, David Gardner.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys, with Pastor Tim Benjamin officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
