Bakersfield – Dennis Blair Gallion was born on November 11, 1947 to Bud and Sue Gallion in King City, California. He passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 77. He attended local schools there and received his high school diploma from North Salinas High School.
His siblings are Lauren [Gallion] Davin, Marita [Gallion] Houx, and Danny Gallion. Dennis was our older brother. We lived for a year in the Santa Cruz mountains where Dennis would love the pristine areas to explore. After living in other locations for a while, we moved Dennis to Bakersfield, CA to be near family once again. He immediately found that he loved this big/small town with its many activities and ease of navigation.
His biggest opportunity came when he was hired on at the Bakersfield Blaze baseball team. He soon became their beloved "Froggy".
Dennis had many, many relatives and loved the family reunions. He really loved his many nieces and nephews who became "his family". He was deeply saddened by the passing of his niece Michele.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Greenlawn Southwest on Panama at at 2:00 p.m.
Dennis was always eager to donate to humanitarian societies and animal rescue. If you wish to donate in his name, it would make him so happy.

Hey Big Brother....you were always there for us. Your 3 siblings will miss you so very very much. It was always the 4 of us.
We appreciated that you were our brother. I'm sure that you are out exploring the territory and appreciating nature as you always enthusiastically did....much love to you always
