Dennis Lee Jensen, 71, of Richland Center died at home on December 19, 2024. Dennis was born on August 20, 1953, to Wallace and Donna (Evans) Jensen. He graduated from River Valley High School in 1971. Dennis worked many years at MPC as a team leader before his retirement. As a young man, he enjoyed hunting, his dogs and horses. Later in his life, he enjoyed the Northwoods, fishing, camping, and most of all listening to his beloved Milwaukee Brewers games. Dennis and Mindy spent 18 loving years together with the last four of them being as husband and wife.
Dennis is survived by his wife Mindy of Richland Center;
Son: Troy (Allison) Jensen of Mazomanie;
Four step-children: Mike Evans of Verona,
Tarah Evans of Georgia,
Andy (McKenzie Parkhurst) Barrett of Richland County,
Ellie (Justin) Mitchell of Cazenovia;
Two granddaughters: Ari and Lily Jensen;
Four step-grandchildren: Brock and Bryson Barrett, Hayden and Haeven Mitchell;
Two brothers: Tom Jensen of LaValle,
Jim (Carol) Jensen of Plain;
Sisters and brothers-in-law: Missy (Chuck) Barrett of Richland Center,
Kathy (Tom) Jurgensen of Bear Valley,
Dan (Paula) Ekleberry of Muscoda,
Diana (Kelvin) Janecek of Hillsboro,
Donna Ekleberry of Richland Center;
Many other relatives and friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Donna Jensen.
Dennis was a very simple, soft spoken, and private man. Per Dennis's request, no formal services will be held. A private burial will be held in the Mount Tabor Cemetery at a later date. Memorial's in Dennis's name may be directed to Walk with GRACE. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
