Robert A. "Bob" Williams

Robert A. "Bob" Williams, age 87, of Richland Center, formerly of Skokie, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025, at home. He was born on July 22, 1938, in Chicago, IL, the son of Albert and Kathryn (Harvat) Williams. Bob was a hardworking and dedicated man. He owned and operated his own heating and air conditioning business, serving the community with integrity and expertise for over 50 years. Known for his honest work and warm personality, Bob built lifelong relationships with his customers– many of whom still speak of his kindness, reliability, and the pride he took in his craft. He was a true pillar of the community and someone people could always count on. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bob lived by a simple but powerful motto: to live life on his own terms. Bob was a beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his devoted daughters, Roberta (Joe) Koch of Richland Center, and his cherished grandchildren, Max and Trever Koch. Also, Christine (Don) Macherey of Grayslake, Illinois, along with his beloved grandchildren, Brittany and Brian Macherey. His niece, Kimberly Kienitz, and nephews David Moreno and Steven Wozny. Bob is also remembered by many other loving relatives and close friends whose lives he touched with his steady presence and genuine spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents, dear son, Albert Williams of Skokie, Illinois, his sister Barbara Moreno of Boaz, and his brother Donald Williams of Chicago, Illinois. His memory lives on in the stories we tell, the values he passed down, and the lasting impact he had on everyone who knew him. Forever be in our hearts!
