Born on December 1, 1935, on a small farm in Richland Center, Sandy grew up working on his grandparents' farm, milking dairy cows and developing a lifelong passion for the land. After moving to Illinois with his mother, Bessie Anna Denman Mott-Lincoln, his brother, Frank Mott, and stepfather, Glen Lincoln, he returned to Wisconsin after high school to work the family farm, eventually purchasing it when his grandparents retired. Sandy married Cora Griffin on March 25, 1955, at the Buck Creek Church, and together they ran their dairy farm on Wheat Hollow. Alongside his beloved wife, Cora, Sandy became a cornerstone of the Richland Center community, known for their generous support of local churches and charities. His farm, with its well-kept fields and fruitful orchards, was a cherished gathering place where friends and family from near and far came to share in harvests, hunt, fish, and create lasting memories. Sandy was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin Mott Sr. and Bessie Anna Denman Mott-Lincoln, and his stepfather, Glen Lincoln. Sandy's legacy of kindness, dedication, and love for his family and community will endure. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center with visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Officiant Dave Mott will officiate with burial in the Richland Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you plant a fruit tree in memory of dad's love of his orchards or make a donation to St. Jude's. www.clarymemorialfuneralhome.com To watch the funeral service please click on the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HckmYMpsD4
