Jeanne Marie Gary Williams

1952 - 2025

Jeanne Marie Gary Williams was called to eternal rest on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the age of 72. Jeanne was born on December 29, 1952, to the union of the late Oscar Gary, Sr., and Florence Wilson Gary. She was one of their nine children.

A native of Algiers (Cutoff Community), LA and a resident of Greensboro, North Carolina, Jeanne dedicated her life to serving others. She worked as a residential counselor and caregiver, roles through which she shared her compassion and unwavering love for others. Jeanne will be remembered for kindness and generous spirit.

Jeanne leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters Kisela (Samuel) Early, Rickshell Gary, Penny and Jamie Williams; grandchildren Joseph, Kionne and Trivon Gary, Marquis and Jaidyn Roby, Mariah Trice, Malik Herron, Henry and Tye'Ray Sarah, Makai Gary, Autumn Williams; great-grandchildren: Jaliyah Price, Joseph Gary Jr., Kehlani Whitley and Kingston Richard; sisters:Mercedes Noil and Beulah Gary; sister-in law: Schwane Taylor Gary and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar Gary Sr. and Florence Wilson Gary; grandparents: Isiah and Louise Seymour Wilson, Oscar Morris, and Beulah Gary; grandson: Samuel D. Early III; brothers: Oscar Jr., Charles Sr., Manuel, Michael, Joseph and Harold Sr.; aunts: Amelia and Mercedes Gary, Lucy Jackson, Leola, Nancy, Charlene and Johnnie Mae Wilson; uncles: Isiah, Johnny, Joseph, and Robert Wilson; nieces: Roshanda Lynn Noil, Rawanna Onawa, Sharol Ann and Kawanna Tacara Taylor; nephew: Keith Gary.

Jeanne will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends of the family also Pastors, Officers and Members of Second Baptist Church and all neighboring Churches are invited to attend to Funeral Services on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:00am at Greater Providence Baptist Church, 623 Newton Street, Algiers, LA. Rev. Jovante Jimcoily-Host Pastor and Rev. Anthony Ruffin, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00am. Interment in Mc Donogh Cemetery, 520 Hancock Street, Gretna, LA 70053. Final Arrangements entrusted to Patrick H. Sanders Funeral Home & Funeral Directors, LLC. 605 Main Street, Laplace, LA 70068. 985-359-1919. "Providing Care & Comfort is Our Highest Mission."
