DENNIS JOSEPH KELLY OCTOBER 22, 1966 – OCTOBER 5, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, forever missed and remembered son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, Dennis Joseph Kelly.
Dennis regaled a bevy of fans with his Irish wit, good humor, and ready laughter, as he poured their favorite libation at various venues, notably in San Francisco, Colorado and Sacramento. Dennis was a lifelong artist, practicing in the mediums of acrylic, clay and his favorite, watercolor.
Foremost in Dennis’s affections was his devoted love for his family, all of whom grieve his passing. Surviving family members include his cherished mom, Patricia Kelly, sisters Mary and Patsy (husband Dan Teuton), and little brother David (wife Sarah). Dennis is also survived by his two nieces Emma and Adair Teuton and nephew Owen Wilber. Dennis had a special place in his heart for his Auntie Rose (husband Lou Sanna), Uncle Jack O’Shea (wife Mary dec.) and Aunt Pat (husband Ray Zilink dec.). Dennis’ youth was made all the more vibrant by spending time with his many cousins, particularly the O’Shea and Sanna cousins.
Friends and family will be honoring and celebrating Dennis’ enthusiastic good humor, artistry and deep caring and concern at a celebration of life at his sister Mary’s Sacramento home on Sunday, November 2,, 2025, 3:00. Funeral Services will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Sacramento, on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 11:00. The service will be followed by a private interment at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Dennis, until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
