Dennis Gordon Lamer, 66 formerly of Paris, passed away March 16, 2026 at his home.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

Dennis was born in Rosieres-en-Haye, France on March 15, 1960 to Lawrence Gordon and Hazel Duff Lamer. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator until his health no longer allowed. He was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan. Dennis enjoyed spending time fishing with his son and his brother. He loved children and they loved him. Dennis always loved to make people laugh and was a natural born comedian.

He is survived by his wife, Karla Lamer of Arlington; children, Matthew Lamer and wife Laurie of Paris, Colten Crawford and husband Joshua of Fort Sill, Oklahoma, R.T. Lamer of Arlington; grandchildren, Cayden Lamer, J.J. Lamer, Sarah Howard, Rachel Howard; siblings, Debbie Jones and husband Forrest, Larry Lamer and wife Melanie; nieces, Celeste Jones, Amanda Barton, Jameelah Raines, Hala Abuamer, Ashley Ribbe; nephews, Luke Lamer, Logan Lamer, Anthony Ribbe; numerous extended family members; best friend, William Ferguson.

He was preceded in death by parents; granddaughter, Charlie Minhinnette; sister, Patricia.
