Dennis E. Lapp

Dennis E. Lapp, 74, of Akron, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Wellspan York Hospital.
He was born in Lancaster to the late Melvin and Virginia (Mohler) Lapp and was the husband of Maxine C. "Connie" Lapp with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.
Dennis was a member of Akron Mennonite Church. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in electrical engineering. He was an avid photographer, was a car enthusiast, enjoyed riding bicycle and he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Matthew, husband of Barbara Lapp, Jesse, husband of Alexis Lapp; five grandchildren, Noah, Madelyn, Elyssa, Ethan, Grayson Lapp and a brother, Dean, husband of Lori Lapp.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Lapp and a sister, Charlene Snavely.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 10 to 11 am, at Akron Mennonite Church, 1311 Diamond Street, Akron, followed by his funeral service at 11 am. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family
