Dennis Marschinke

Dennis D. Marschinke passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025 at the age of 89 years old. He was born January 19, 1936 in St. Paul, MN, and attended the University of Minnesota and Dunwoody Institute. Denny started his career as a draftsman at Magnetic Controls and then joined Liberty Carton Company in the 1960's and rose to General Manager before retiring. He will be missed and forever loved by his wife, Ruth, his daughter, Joy (Richard) Field and son David (Lisa) Marschinke, and their children Benjamin Field, Evan Field (Kristina Whitfield), Jonathan (Sophia) Field, Ellie Marschinke, Daniel Marschinke, and Carly Marschinke, and great-grandchildren, Olivia and Taylor Field. Also survived by Ruth's family, her daughters Jill Pfau and Stella (John) Hurrle, and son Victor (Bette Jo) Gervais, and their children Rochelle (Brandon) Hoff, Max Pfau, Mindy (Ron) Antiel, Molly (Robert) Arens, Macey (Dillon) Brickweg, Madison Hurrle, and Mitchell and Emery Gervais, and great-grandchildren Tyler and Emma Hoff and Hayes, Quinn, and Ames Antiel. Denny leaves countless friends, including his high school AZA group, Liberty Carton friends, and poker buddies, all of whom were very special to him. A Memorial service will be held on Monday September 15, 2025 at 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior and luncheon to follow at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel, 5125 W Broadway Ave, Crystal.
