I was sorry to hear of Dennis' passing. He seemed so kindhearted and gentle. It is sad that he suffered so much, yet he was blessed with a loving wife and caregiver. Hope you are doing well. Julie, Lindsay, Lisa, Scott, Mom & Greg,
We have been and will continue to pray for you in the loss of Uncle Den. As I have been thinking of my memories, the one thing that keeps coming back is his laugh. I can hear it even now and picture his grin especially as we sat around and Mom, Greg, Den & Cindy told stories from their childhood. I so loved hearing all those stories. I hope you find comfort in all of your happy memories.

To my dear Aunt Julie, Cousins Lisa, Scott, and Lindsay:
May you please be in peace knowing Denny isn't suffering any longer. His illness is completely gone and your worries are washed away. With the 2nd death in 5 months, I can understand how difficult this must be. However losing a husband & a dad is almost unbearable. Please know that every single one of you is in my heart and my arms are wrapped around each of you hugging as tight as I can.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. I hope your memories bring you comfort. I worked with Denny at Revenue for many years. He was always ready for a good time, loved his football pool, and very proud of his Irish heritage.

I was very sorry to hear about the loss of Denny, the irishman. I worked many years with Denny and he was always very proud of being Irish. He always brought in the most perfect Shamrock cookies on St Pat's day.

To Marilyn and Greg - We were so sorry to see the obituary in the paper this morning. Dennis was a childhood friend and we remember wonderful times as children playing baseball, going to the Boys Club at Harvard Park Dads Club and the fun memories of growing up together that will last a lifetime. I am very sad to hear Dennis passing away. We had a great time at the ball park in 1980's and after the game, we had a blast, too. I also have enjoyed working with him, too. God bless his soul and give him eternal peace.

Dennis was a dear childhood friend (Bunn Park Christian Church) and we were each others 'best men' in our early twenties. I have many fond memories of Denny and of our families spending time together. He loved his music, Cardinals and Dolphins! He will be fondly remembered and missed by many of us in Springfield! Our memories are precious, our hearts are sad but we hold on to the HOPE of a brighter tomorrow! Den will always hold a special place in my heart, especially as kids growing up inseparable! Den and I shared many childhood memories as first cousins (his dad and my mom were brother and sister). Our moms dressed us like "twins" as we were only 2 months apart in age. He was robbed of carefree teen and young adults years by juvenile diabetes and yet, he taught us how to face that giant with courage! He had a certain way he put his hands around his neck when he was really "laughing" about something and I cherish the memories. While I am so very sad that he left us too quickly, I am rejoicing that he is FREE of pain and suffering. My heart and love to the rest of his family ... whom I love very much! Love you, Den!!!! Dennis was a very passionate man who will be missed by many. He has left a loving family here on earth to join his parents in heaven. He is now painfree and dancing to the music of the angels!
