Dennis E. Moeller, age 90 of New London passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. Dennis was born on August 23, 1932 in Green Bay to the late Henry and Florence (Schuster) Moeller. He married Shirley Prahl on May 12, 1956. She preceded him in death in 2004. Dennis was in the US Army and served his country in the Korean War. He lived and farmed in the New London area for many years and worked as electrician for R&L Electric. Dennis was a longtime, faithful member of Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in New London and then later Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Readfield.
Dennis is survived by his children, RaeAnn (Jeff) Kalbus, Randy (Judy) Moeller and Patti Moeller; grandchildren, Joel Moeller (Kristen Gehring) and Rachel Moeller (Jared Jaeger); his in-laws, Joanne Prahl, Ila Mae (Dave) Klatt, Judy Diestler, Donn Prahl and Janet (Rod) Prey and his nieces and nephews, David (Renee) Klatt, Bryon (Sarah) Prey, Jason (Casey) Radtke, Mark (Janice) Diestler, Todd (Amanda) Prey, Lori (Doug) Rodencal, Kris (Lenny) Heimbruch, Lisa (Adam) Alix, Teresa, who was like a 3rd daughter to Dennis (Dean) Brinkman and Jenna (Greg) Stelter.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; wife; father and mother-in-law, Carl and Esther Prahl; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Karlene Radtke; brother-in-law, LeRoy Diestler; nephews, Greg Klatt and Faron Much and special friend, Catherine Roemer.
The Funeral Service for Dennis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Readfield with Rev. Peter Kesting officiating. The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, where full military honors will be held.
