Dennis McKinley Moffett, 77, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 in Crump, Tennessee.
Dennis was born in Savannah on June 10, 1947 to Val Dee and Virgina (Deatherage) Moffett. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and wife of 42 years, Cheryl Diann (Fry) Moffett.
He is survived by his companion, Anne Kilburn, two sons Randall Moffett of Jackson, TN, Anthony Moffett and wife Jenni of Murfreesboro, TN; his only brother Darrell Moffett and wife Heather of Stantonville, TN; and grandchildren Abigail, Danielle Elizabeth, Isaac, and Lucas.
Dennis retired from Modern Woodman of America after serving many years as the District Manager. He was also a longtime pastor and devoted member of the House of Mercy Church, in Morris Chapel, TN where visitation will be held Friday, July 5 from 6 to 8pm and Saturday, July 6 from 1 to 3pm with the funeral service starting at 3pm.
