Dennis Ray Mowrey, 69, of Delaware passed away at home peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025 after his battle against cancer. He was born on April 26, 1955, the son of the late James and Doris (Gries)Mowrey.
He is survived by his wife, Annette (Westrick); daughters, Erin (wife Candice) and Kim (Husband Brian Klenk); grandchildren, Chloe and Cooper (Klenk) and Harper; brother, Dan (Kathy) Mowrey and sister-in-laws, Linda and Sharyn Mowrey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David and Douglas.
Dennis lived life to the fullest and was always ready for a good time. He liked traveling, sports and his classic cars. He loved attending Ohio State sporting events, Columbus Blue Jackets hockey games, Bowling Green football games and cheering on his Detroit teams. He also enjoyed driving his golf cart down to the local high school to watch football and baseball games.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Grace Point Community Church, 2393 Peachblow Rd, Lewis Center, OH on Friday, April 4, 2025. The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a service to follow at noon. The family asks those attending to honor Dennis by wearing your favorite sports team shirt or a Hawaiian shirt.
