Mr. Dennis Wayne Northcutt, Sr. of Natchitoches passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on February 19th 1960 to Malcolm and Ella Rae Northcutt.

During his younger years he attended school in Winnfield, Louisiana and helped his father and brothers run a Milk delivery route. Later in life he joined and worked in the oil and gas industry for 40 years.

During his life he had many hobbies that he enjoyed such as fishing, hunting, carpentry and mechanic work. He was never afraid to take on a task whether he knew how or not. "We'll figure it out".

He is preceded in death by his father Malcolm Northcutt. Brothers - Michael Northcutt, Terry Northcutt, Malcolm Northcutt Jr. and Timmy Northcutt. Sisters - Sandra James and Debbie Moore.

Survived by his wife Mary Youngblood Northcutt; Mother, Ella Rae Borland Northcutt; Brother, Ronnie Northcutt; Sisters, Carla Franks and spouse Michael, Donna Northcutt and Connie Northcutt; Sons, Erich Johnson and spouse Dianne, Dennis Northcutt Jr. and spouse Karen, David Northcutt and girlfriend Emily Dunn; Thought of as sons are Keith and Michael Harrell; Grandchildren, Haley Johnson, Bailey Northcutt, Skylar Johnson, Gracelyn Northcutt and Memphis Northcutt.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2026 in the New Jeruselem Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Franks officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Friends may visit with the family at Southern Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM.
