Mrs. June Paul Garner, aged 83, of Montgomery, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, in Montgomery. Born on December 24, 1942, in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, June was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her love of cooking, tending her yard, and caring for her flowers, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.

June was preceded in death by her father, Roosevelt Paul; her mother, Bonnie LaVada King Paul; her husband, Wade L. Garner; and her brother, Tommy Paul. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Garner of Montgomery; grandchildren Caleb Garner and Jordon Coker (Brittaney); great-grandchildren Emma Grace and Millicent Grey; siblings Patsy Stroud and Troy Paul; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Travis Stroud, Tony Stroud, Eric Stroud, Patrick Mobley, Dylan Gongre, Hon., and Darek Johnson, Hon.

Visitation will be held at Northside Baptist Church on Monday, December 29, 2025. There will be a private family time from 4:00PM until 5:00PM. Visitation will open to the public at 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Tilton officiating. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Those honored to serve the family as pallbearers are Travis Stroud, Tony Stroud, Eric Stroud, Caleb Garner, Patrick Mobley and Jordon Coker. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Darek Johnson, and Dylan Gongre.
