William Isacc Garner

William Isacc Garner, age 56 of Decherd, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 27, 1969, to the late Joseph Luther and Joanne (VanKampen) Garner. Billy had most recently worked as a self-employed residential and industrial carpenter. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and sitting around the fire pit, as well as catching up on his favorite television shows. He cherished the memories of growing up with his family on the mountain and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, siblings, girlfriend, and friends. A Christian man, he attended Cumberland Bible Chapel in Monteagle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Garner; and sister, Jo Marie Brewer. Billy is survived by his siblings, Rose (Eddie) Hubbard, Anna (Tommy) Myers, Paul Garner, Mark Garner, John (Denise) Garner, Danny (Annette) Garner, Roger (Jeanette) Garner, and David (Brenda) Garner; girlfriend, Margaret Corbitt; daughters, Theresa Garner and Kandice Hodge; granddaughter, Rylee Barron, Skyler Barron, Macy Barron, and Kyle Garner, step-son, Eric Hall; step-daughter, Beth McBee; several nieces and nephews; and friends, Charlie Wooten and Mike Byers.
