Judy Grace Garner, 78, of Lilburn, GA passed away February 12, 2026. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Bill Head Funeral Homes Lilburn /Tucker Chapel with Pastor Chris Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Luxomni Cemetery.

Mrs. Garner, a native of Hinsdale, IL was a retired Telecommunications Supervisor with the Crawford and Company.

Our mom was renowned for her extraordinary creative talent. She was passionate about crafting quilts, pouring her love into every stitch, and joyfully made them for countless others. Her love for Christmas was contagious, symbolized by her numerous trees, and she beautifully passed down her festive spirit to generations. She truly loved hosting themed parties and creatively expressed herself through bespoke Halloween costumes.

She adored her family with all her heart. She never met a stranger; everyone was welcome in her home.

Preceded in death by her granddaughter, Taylor Reid Layman and grandson, Evan Garner, Dad, Melvin Plate; her Mom, Mildred Plate; her brother Lee Plate, she is survived by her husband, Richard Garner of Lilburn, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Dave Fonseca of Lawrenceville, GA, Heidi and Kenny Russell of Griffin, GA, Rebecca and Daniel Creath of Chelsea, AL, Charlotte and Weaks McKinney - Smith of Louisville, KY; sons and daughters-in-law, Adam and Patty Garner of Monroe, GA, Jason and Becky Garner of Monroe, GA; grandchildren, Kelsey Ferguson and her husband Bruce, Anniston Brubaker and her husband Dylan, Bradley Russell, Cameron Russell, Micah Creath, Madison Creath, Jacob Garner and his wife Allie, Ryan Garner and his wife Morgan, Emily Bailey and her husband, Anderson, Stephen Garner; several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bill Head Funeral Homes & Crematory Lilburn / Tucker Chapel (770)564-2726.
