George Pervis Obituary
He was born in Louisville, GA November 14, 1937 and the son of George Lee Pervis, SR and Annie Cooper Pervis. Lee was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation. He was an active member of Rehoboth Baptist Church, where he had many friends, and a Master Mason of Master's Lodge #295.
Lee was a sweet, loving and Godly man and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ann Pervis, his brother, Jeff Pervis, and his loving wife of 38 years, Agnes Pervis.
His is survived by children Charlotte Ownbey (David) of Seneca, SC, Angelia Smith (Derrick) of Eatonton, GA, 4 grandchildren, Chad Ownbey (McKenzie) of Seneca, SC, Josieann Ownbey of Greenville, SC, Andrew Smith (Molly) of Greensboro, GA and Cameron Smith (Amanda) of Woodstock, GA and 5 great grandchildren, Ellie Ann Ownbey, Jackson Smith, Emerson Smith, Abigail Smith and Tucker Smith, and one nephew, Brad Pervis.
A private burial is planned for the family.
