Dennis Edward Osicki, age 81, of Wickliffe, peacefully passed away on May 21, 2024, at his home. He was born on March 20, 1943, to Edward and Anna (nee: Kollar) Osicki in Cleveland, Ohio.
He served his country proudly in the US Airforce. Dennis was raised in Maple Heights, where he also met the love of his life Susan Savarino. They married on October 23, 1965, and they made a wonderful life together. Susan sadly passed away in 1991, leaving Dennis with many cherished memories to share with family and friends.
Dennis was a Supervisor at Lincoln Electric, where he began working in 1965, overseeing operations with a mix of expertise and a friendly demeanor. After a long and fulfilling career, he retired from Lincoln Electric in 2002.
Dennis wasn't just a chatterbox by reputation; it was practically his superpower. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel like an old friend. His love for socializing was only matched by his love for a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon. If there was a party, you could bet Dennis was there entertaining the crowd. He thrived in the company of others. He was the life of every gathering; He loved telling his endless stories and meeting and making new friends.
He had a passion for golf. He missed hitting the links and often talked about getting back out on the course, his loyalty to Cleveland sports teams – the Browns, Guardians, and The Ohio State Buckeyes – knew no bounds.
In his quieter moments, Dennis could be found basking in the sun, with a PBR in his hand, enjoying every moment of life. But nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by family, he loved playing croquet with his children and grandchildren, weaving memories that would last a lifetime.
He leaves a legacy of laughter and love, survived by his children, David (Debbie) Osicki of Leroy Township, OH, Aimee Osicki of Henderson, NV and Daniel (Elizabeth) Osicki of Chesterland, OH; Brother, Ken (Sharon) Osicki and sister, Cindy Osicki; Grandchildren, Nathan (Hannah) Osicki, Josh (Nicole) Osicki, Jake (Payton Skender) Osicki, Bailey Osicki, Kyle Osicki, Ryan Osicki, Marley Scott and Sydney Scott; Great Grandchildren, Ella, Chloe, Lily, Gabryela, Jonathon, Vincent and Joey.
A visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord, Ohio 44077. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. A private family burial will be held at All Souls Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Chardon, Ohio. Share your condolences and reminisce about Dennis online at www.burrservice.com.

I met Denny around 1967 when I was transferred to innershield, a department he worked in at Lincoln electric. We discovered that we lived close to each other in Solon, Ohio, in fact, he lived on the next street over. We rode to work together for a good while until our work paths went in different directions. Denny and Sue and Jayne and I would get together at each other‘s homes to visit and have a few, or more, beers. One thing that comes to mind when I think about those days is one weekend in the winter. The four of us built a snowman in my front yard . It was about 7 feet tall, and I still don’t know how we got the head up on top of that thing, then we used our empty beer bottles for eyes, nose, and buttons. I smile every time I remember that night. That was a thing about Denny, you couldn’t help but smile when you were around him. In fact, it’s hard to remember him getting mad about anything. He will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
