Dennis Lee Pack, age 61, passed away June 10, 2025. Dennis was a true patriot for his country. He served in both the Army and Air Force resulting in deployments to four different areas of conflict over four decades. Dennis loved his community and did his part to protect it as a well-respected police officer with the Knoxville Police Department. He had an unquenchable thirst for learning that was only rivaled by his love of the Vols. Dennis is preceded in death by his father Chester Pack and his mother Alice Pack. He is survived by his wife Karen Pack, his children Jessica (Omer) Tekin, Jennifer (Chris) Griffis, Jason Pack, his nephew Kevin Pack, his grandchildren Brianna Jones, Aiden Tekin, and Aisha Tekin, and his siblings Sandy, Chester Jr, Ricky, Randy, Cathy, and Robin. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Rose Funeral & Cremation Broadway. The family and friends will meet at 12:45 pm Wednesday June 18, 2025, at Rose Funeral & Cremation Broadway to travel in procession to East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for graveside service with full military honors presented by East Tennessee State Veterans Honor Guard and the Knoxville Police Department.
