Dennis Pheffer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals Inc. on Oct. 27, 2025.
Dennis Pheffer, 69, passed away on October 20, 2025, in Asbury Park. Born on August 16, 1956, in Hell's Kitchen section of Manhattan, he was a life-long resident of Keansburg, before moving to Asbury Park 2 years ago.
Predeceased by his parents, Sam and Lillian Pheffer, Dennis also bid farewell to his brothers Jimmy and Bobby Pheffer, and his sister Arlene Crinigan before his own departure. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his special sister and best friend, Debbie Pheffer; his brothers, Richard and Gary Pheffer; his sisters, including Donna and and brother in-law
Richard Barna, Linda Cusano, and his sister, Cheryl DeMarais; and a host of adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.
Dennis's life was a melody composed of joy, laughter, and the love of music. His passion for singing was only paralleled by his love for the harmonies of the Beach Boys. Those who knew Dennis could often find him humming a tune or sharing his gift of song with others. His sense of humor was legendary, and he could light up any room with his quick wit. He also enjoyed the comedic antics of the Three Stooges.
A social butterfly, Dennis was the life of every party. His presence meant laughter was guaranteed, and his jokes were the highlight of many gatherings. His ability to make others laugh was a true gift that he shared generously, never missing an opportunity to bring a smile to someone's face.
An avid sports fan, Dennis's loved New York Yankees and the Miami Dolphins.
Dennis's departure leaves behind a legacy of joy, kindness, and the precious reminder to savor the simple pleasures of life.
His spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he leaves behind, and the echoes of his laughter will forever be a comforting reminder of the wonderful man we were privileged to know. Rest in peace, Dennis; your melody will play on in the lives of all you've touched.
Family and friends are invited to pay their request for a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 from 2PM to 4PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation was private.
