Stephanie Jo Pheffer, a beloved pre-school teacher and cherished member of the Vincennes community, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, in her hometown of Vincennes, Indiana, with her family by her side. Born on November 13, 1958, Stephanie dedicated many years to nurturing and educating young minds, leaving a lasting impact on countless children and their families.

Throughout her life, Stephanie was known for her vibrant personality and warm spirit. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, which included playing bingo, engaging with her tablet, and spending quality time with her beloved grandchildren. An ardent fan of the Indianapolis Colts, she often shared her enthusiasm for football with friends and family, bringing a sense of camaraderie and joy to every gathering.

Stephanie was a loving daughter to Mary Blessinger, and the proud mother of Jennifer (Leon) Philpott, Ashley Graham, and Josh (Chelsea) Pheffer. She also cherished her role as a grandmother to Johnny and Brianna Graham, who were the light of her life. She is survived by her mother, Mary, her daughters Jennifer and Ashley, her son Josh, her grandson Johnny, her granddaughter Brianna, and her brother Walter Blessinger, Jr.

Those who have passed before her include her father, Walter Blessinger, and her husband, Donald Pheffer, both of whom she deeply loved and missed. Their memories lived on in the stories she shared and the love she imparted to her family.

Her spirit and love will continue to shine through her family and friends, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness, love, and dedication to the happiness of others. Stephanie Jo Pheffer's presence in the world has left an indelible mark on the hearts she touched, and she will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St, Vincennes from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm with a service beginning at 1:00 pm. Stephanie will be laid to rest next to her husband in Memorial Park. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Stephanie and her family.
