Dennis served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Retired from the Asbury Park School District maintenance department. He was a member of the American Legion #129 where he created many friendships throughout his life. He was a friend to everyone he met and would do anything for anyone he could. He will be greatly missed.
Dennis was a loving husband and devoted father and trusted friend. His greatest joys and accomplishments were his love for his family and being a Dad.
Dennis is predeceased by his parents Dennis Patrick Sr. and Alice Watt Ryan.
Dennis is survived by his wife Marie LaVacca of 56 years, son Dennis Ryan, daughter Dana Marie Ryan and sister-in-law Carolyn LaVacca.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 3pm to 7pm at Timothy E. Ryan home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd.,Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am, Friday, March 6, 2026 at St. Justin the Martyr RC Church with Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
