It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis A. Smith, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 58.

Born March 4, 1967, Dennis the son of the late Louis D. Smith and Elizabeth (Cline) Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Harry and Eva Cline and paternal grandparents John and Loretta Smith, brother David L. Smith and his nephew Josua Smith.

He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him greatly. Dennis also leaves behind his best friend of many years Troy Chrisman, his little family that fell into place at just the right time, Mandi Blubaugh, her daughter Bella, and his beloved dog Reagen.

Dennis had a passion for Mopar cars. Most days you would find him in the garage tinkering around with his beloved cars, a passion that brought him great joy. Dennis was a master of body work and could make any car look brand new, and make it look easy! He enjoyed going to car shows to display his vintage cars and won many trophies through the years.

As we mourn the loss of Dennis, let us remember the joy and laughter he brought into our lives.

Out of sadness, joy can grow. Dennis was able to give the gift of life to another through organ donation. While our family is saddened because we had to say goodbye, another family found joy and a brand new hello.

May his memory live on forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace Dennis Smith. You will never be forgotten.

Dennis will be laid to rest next to his parents and brother, at Mound View Cemetery. Reunited once more to share eternal happiness.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date and time, to be announced by the family.
