Dennis Marion Standeford was born to Wayne and Louella Standeford in Lane County, Oregon on September 17th, 1961. He passed away on September 23rd, 2025 in Renton, Washington. He is preceded in death by his mother, Louella.
He is survived by his wife Jill; daughter Janelle (Tim) Brewer; grandson Calvin; father Wayne (Judy) Standeford; brothers Jack (Debbie) Standeford and Gary Standeford; nieces and nephews Brian, Alisha, and Jason; and by many relatives.
Dennis attended Pleasant Hill High School in Pleasant Hill, Oregon. He was a proud member of the class of 1979. He then received his Associates of Science and Computer Programming from Lane Community College.
Dennis worked for 40 years for Nicholson Manufacturing/Northern Industrial, first in IT and then as a property manager.
When working in IT, he never hesitated to help wherever he was needed. He rewired the office's phone and computer systems and did prep work for outside sources.
Eight years ago, when Nicholson moved to property management, he willingly went the extra mile. He went to the property he managed to do landscaping, put down de-icer in the winter, and made sure outside maintenance was done properly and on time.
Dennis enjoyed spending time with family. He also enjoyed boating and hunting–especially bird hunting and fishing.
Services will be held on October 18th, 2025 at Cady Cremation Services and Funeral Home at 2:30pm.
