Dennis Stover, 66, Kokomo, passed away at 7:10AM Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in his residence. He was born November 4, 1944 in Kokomo, Indiana to R. Clifford and E. Louise (Holt) Stover. On June 5, 1965, he married Cindy L. (Heflin); she survives. He has been employed with Continental Steel, Armstrong Landon Company, Department of Corrections, Wabash Valley, and then was transferred to the Miami Correctional Facility, and V-Line. Surviving is his wife, Cindy L. Stover, Kokomo, mother, E. Louise Stover, Kokomo, son, James Stover, Anderson, Daughter, Sandy L. Jones, Kokomo, three grandchildren, Justin W. Thatcher, Jonnah W. Thatcher and Samantha Thompson, one great-grandson, Zayne E. Brown, brother and sister in law, Clifford G. and Annette Stover, Bunker Hill, sister and brother in law, Linda L. and Neil Michel, Tipton. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, R. Clifford Stover and a brother, James M. Stover. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, June 13, 2011 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street with Rev. Raleigh F. Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be directed to either the guardian Angel Hospice or the American Cancer Society, envelopes will be provided at the mortuary.
