Dennis Tomlin Obituary
Dennis James Tomlin, age 60 of Nixa, died July 19, 2023. He was born June 27, 1963 in Forrest City, Arkansas, the son of Jerrel and Shirley (Burkhart) Tomlin.
Dennis owned TRS Cycle in Nixa for 26 years. He was a master motorcycle technician and had a positive impact in the motocross community across the midwest.
On October 16, 1981, Dennis was united in marriage Sandy (Rantz).
Survivors include: his wife, Sandy Tomlin of Nixa; his mother, Shirley Cook of Nixa; children, Jonathan Tomlin and wife Devra of Sparta and Dylan Tomlin of Nixa; grandchildren, Freya Tomlin of Springfield and Kendra Coxson and husband Adam of Ava; a sister, Janice Hoxworth and husband Michael of Nixa; a niece Kaylee Alvarado of Nixa; sister in law, Sheila Cox and husband Art of Sparta; a nephew, Cameron Cox of Sparta; and many friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial visitation for friends and family will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Following visitation, a private memorial service for family will be held at 1:00 p.m.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
